FLOAM! Need I say More?

Today I have for you arguably the most popular polish from Nail-Venturous-FLOAM!  I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't know what Floam was.  If you are in the same boat as me, then let me explain.  Floam is a toy invented by Nickelodeon and Mattel made of microbeads in a foam-like substance. It looks just like this nail polish!

After using Pinkerbell and not using a colored base coat, I learned my lesson.  Floam is somewhat thick, so I used Julep Leah (apple green) on one hand and Zoya Robyn (blue ) on the other to cut down on the number of coats I would need.  I then put two coats of Floam (although one would have worked well with the base coat showing through more) over the top.

I LOVE FLOAM!!!!  I get the hype now!  This stuff is fantastic!  It is a neon green and blue matte micro-glitter in a clear base.  I still trip out on the MATTE glitter!  Amy truly does things that no one else does!

This polish is thick and it would take three coats to cover on its own. I highly recommend a base coat with it.  These macro shots show the glitter kind of "pulled apart."   It does not look like that in person. It is very blended.

This was a hungry glitter. I used one coat of Gelous and two coats of Seche Vite. I also used the tin foil method to take it off.  I recommend leaving the tin foil on a little bit longer than normal-maybe 1-2 minutes more.
